We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst in Demand Forecasting to support our sales and operations by predicting market demand for our electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to forecast demand accurately.
Demand Forecasting Analysis : Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior patterns to generate accurate demand forecasts for electric vehicles, considering various factors such as seasonality, promotions, and market changes.
Statistical Modeling : Utilize statistical models, forecasting techniques, and predictive analytics to develop and refine demand forecasting models. Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through model enhancements and adjustments.
Data Collection and Analysis : Gather and organize relevant data from internal and external sources to support demand forecasting activities. Conduct thorough analysis to identify demand drivers and factors influencing sales.
Forecast Validation and Reporting : Validate forecast accuracy by comparing predicted outcomes with actual sales performance. Generate reports and insights on forecast accuracy, deviations, and trends to support decision-making.
Collaborative Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance to align demand forecasts with production planning, inventory management, and sales strategies.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance demand forecasting processes, methodologies, and tools. Implement improvements to optimize forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
Market Research and Insights : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide insights and recommendations that influence demand forecasts.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., forecasting, data analytics) are advantageous.
Proven experience (X+ years) in demand forecasting, statistical modeling, or business analysis, preferably within the automotive industry or related sectors.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (such as R, Python, or SAS) and data visualization tools.
Solid understanding of demand forecasting methodologies, statistical techniques, and predictive modeling.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Expected Salary Range
$63,333 to $104,046 per year.
Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
