The Assembly Technician II has a hands-on role in the construction and assembly of Arcimoto's world-class products. This position is responsible for performing standardized manufacturing processes, while continuously looking for ways to improve production quality and output. As a member of the Manufacturing Production Team, the Assembly Technician's superior work and work ethic are crucial to the team's success, and help ensure Arcimoto delivers on its mission of a sustainable transportation system.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Perform physical assembly operations, adhering to the standard processes and procedures of Arcimoto's Production System
  • Construct assemblies and physical systems at the required output and quality, using physical operations which can include repetitive pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc.
  • Escalate functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and leaders
  • Share ideas on process design and tooling improvements to increase quality, reduce cost, and support the production work environment
  • Ensure safety is always a priority by maintaining a safe work environment and following safety rules
  • Demonstrate a genuine regard and respect for the well-being of teammates and co-workersPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations
  • All other duties assigned
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing assembly production or equivalent technical training
  • Capability and interest in performing physical work which may require standing for extended periods of time and lifting objects of up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to use a variety of powered tools and equipment that can be complex and may produce vibration
  • Demonstrated success in quickly learning and adjusting to process changes and solving issues at work with urgency and diplomacy while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a dynamic team environment, including being punctual, professional, and reliable
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The Arcimoto Manufacturing Plants (AMP/RAMP) is where production, fabrication, warehouse, and machining activities are present. The noise level in the AMP/RAMP can be moderate to loud some of the time. The Arcimoto East buildings are where research and development, IT and servicing activities are present. The noise level in the Arcimoto East buildings is moderate to loud some of the time. Arcimoto has various other buildings where materials, administration, accounting, marketing, sales and engineering activities are present. The noise level in the various other work environments is low to moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
