Role Overview

Fisker Automotive is looking for a passionate Assistant Manager, Vehicle Administration, to join our growing team based in Manhattan Beach, CA. You will be responsible for overseeing Fisker's customer facing Vehicle Admin. Department. This includes but isn't limited to ensuring Fisker customers will experience a seamless high quality purchasing experience in the US. This role will report to the Vehicle Administration Manager and work closely with other key stakeholders to ensure Fisker customers complete the vehicle purchase, registration, and insurance process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Fisker's Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales Objectives are achieved by the Vehicle Admin Department

  • Direct oversight of the Fisker Vehicle Admin Supervisors and Coordinators

  • Ensure the Vehicle Admin department efficiently coordinates the Sales, Delivery, and Order Operations, for Fisker customers.

  • Handle all customer escalation issues by getting directly involved to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

  • Make critical decisions which may affect the customer experience or purchase while always keeping Fisker's interest and customer satisfaction at the forefront of decisions.

  • Audit customer deal documents with other key stakeholders to ensure all required documents relating to the vehicle purchase or lease are complete and accurate prior signing and post customer delivery.

  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Safeguard a seamless customer experience (incl. knowledge on current rules & regulations) for registration, taxation, subsidy claims, and insurance of Fisker vehicles across the US.

  • Assist the Title and Registration Department with customers, DMV, Finance Lenders, & third parties to prioritize and resolve titling & registration issues.

  • Work in tandem with Vehicle Administration Manager to administer the daily operations & processes related to sales, fleet, and Flexee Lease vehicles in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

  • Oversee Objective setting for the Vehicle Admin Supervisors and Coordinators

  • Work with the Vehicle Administration Manager to provide effective KPIs for the Vehicle Admin Department

  • Provide cadenced updates of customer statuses, and team updates as it relates to delivery processes.

  • Work closely with IT to define business requirements for Fisker systems, focusing on process automation & develop analytical tools to monitor and track employee vehicles, Flexee Leases, and department cars at all levels.

  • Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.

  • Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying, and other duties associated with this position.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 4-6 years' experience in successful vehicle administration management at an OEM, fleet management/service company, car dealership, car insurance company, or regulatory authority

  • Thorough understanding of retail automotive sales

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of vehicle title and registration processes across all 50 states

  • Passion for the customer experience, and an understanding of how operational efficiencies impact said experience

  • Ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver major initiatives, all while relentlessly prioritizing based on need

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • ​Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency and analytical skills.

  • IT systems experience and knowledge on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as well as customer data systems

  • Expected Salary Range: $56,980.00 - $93,600.00 a year.

    Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
