Overview

Job Purpose

R3PI Associate Technician will work on several advanced projects for the company with guidance from the lead technicians. In this role the individual will work as an apprentice to the other technicians, helping on several critical projects. Person must me energetic, upbeat, with a positive attitude. They must have a passion for the mission of delivering EV's and doing what is right for the customer.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities (80s of the Position)

  • General Service Technicians / Painter perform all maintenance and prep, including but not limited to, Body work, Paint prep, color sanding/ polish, and more.
  • Be able to work with other technicians to prep and get vehicles ready for travel and shows.
  • Ability to work in a shop setting on prototype vehicles.
  • Must be a strong team player

    Qualifications

    Required Experience

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • This is for an entry level position. Preferred to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able lift or move 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted and on the ground.
  • Have the dexterity as well as be able to work in tight spaces with tools on a vehicle.
  • Walk/Stand majority of the working day.
  • Be able to work in a high paced work environment.
  • Able to use laptops and tablets for work.
  • Travel Requirements

    Up to 25% travel required throughout the U.S.

    Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, employees may be required to lift up to 25-50 or more pounds, stand, sit, bend/stoop, or operate shop equipment or machinery.
