A key technical member of a cross-functional team that focuses on deploying stationary storage opportunities with cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring balance of plant equipment is commissioned correctly, as a key member of the team driving project delivery.

What You'll Do
· Onsite lead for commissioning and acceptance testing of Balance of Plant equipment, including:
o Electrical systems: Switchgear, relay protection, metering, MV/LV transformers, and cables
o Controls/communication networks: Switches, I/O devices, SCADA equipment
o Auxiliary systems: Fire detection, HMI and UPS
· Review failures & provide corrective actions during Commissioning & Startup
· Develop and execute commissioning test plans, including resourcing, logistics, equipment, and scheduling.
· Provide local/remote technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning as needed.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation, based on market rules, local AHJ/utility requirements, and contractual milestones.
· Drive continuous improvement by capturing and sharing issues, review and revise equipment specifications and/or scopes of work to resolve future gaps/issues and improve the customer experience.
· Ensure safe and seamless handoffs to plant operations teams by developing training/handover packages
· Ownership of administrative responsibilities including, service reports, issue logging/tracking, job safety analysis, and quality compliance.

What You'll Bring
· Relevant experience as an Electrical Commissioning Technician or Field Engineer
· At least 5 years of professional experience in commissioning or performance testing for large-scale PV, storage, or other energy systems
· Knowledge and experience testing Transformers, and Balance of Plant equipment
· Knowledge and experience with SCADA protocols is a bonus (i.e. DNP3, GOOSE and Modbus)
· Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, SEL RTAC, Relays and meters, SCADA gateways, managed Ethernet switches, media converters (fiber and serial) and digital Input/output devices is a bonus.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills
· Ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel, self-directed, highly detail-oriented, organized and flexible
· Ability to travel up to 75% of time, occasionally on short notice
· Demonstrated experience in customer-focused problem solving
