Job Summary :
The Communications Manager takes ownership for Lion's public image and reputation in region (U.S.) through all forms of media -- print, digital, social, video, mobile, tv, press conferences, events, presentations, and more. They lead the editorial strategy, engagement, and relationship with media groups/outlets and are responsible for the regional communications plan, preparing press releases, executing internal/customer communications, and facilitating the Disclosure Committee (C-Suite) official public announcements approval process.
The Communications Manager creates, implements, and manages communications initiatives (i.e., Intranet), programs, and social media that effectively describe and promote Lion, its products, and solutions. They lead the preparation of customer presentations, provide copywriting for marketing initiatives (i.e., campaigns), and execute site communications for Lion's facilities in U.S.
The individual in this role will plan, coordinate, implement and manage various communications requirements simultaneously for a range of state-of- the-art technical products and services, commercial development initiatives, and internal/external stakeholders. They hold a critical role in aligning communications objectives with the company's strategic goals.
The communications manager's duties include briefing internal or external resources, and monitoring and assessing communications initiatives and their ROI. As an excellent project manager, you will collaborate across the organization, manage budgets and timelines, and have a talent for working under pressure. It is essential to be highly experienced in communications for publicly traded stock exchange-listed organizations.
Main Job Responsabilities:
Lead and execute all internal and external marketing communications for Lion in U.S. and as requested for corporate initiatives, ensuring the message is strategic, consistent, and engaging.
Develop and execute media relations strategy with targeting, networking, and engagement
Partner and manage public relations agencies to generate high-profile national and international media opportunities
Manage social media – develop a content calendar, write posts, community management, metrics, tracking, and insights
Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
Copywrite and proof all marketing materials – print and online advertising, email, social, web copy, eBooks, articles, corporate videos, marketing collateral
Prepare technical, commercial, and government relations press releases and facilitate the investor disclosure committee approval process.
Facilitate and create stakeholder presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees, customers, industry partners, media, and others.
Define and manage marketing communications budget to maximize value
Measure performance of communications strategies and implement improvement tactics
Support organization-wide communications initiatives such as townhalls and the intranet
Be the marketing communications leader for Lion's facilities in U.S. and a public representative of the company
Lead and/or execute corporate initiatives as assigned by supervisor.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, journalism or similar
Master's degree in marketing communications management preferred
