Role Overview

Fisker is looking for a dynamic Contract Manager to support the continual growth of Fisker's global business. This position is responsible for managing, organizing, reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts, nondisclosure agreements, and other specialized agreements.

Strong communication, problem-solving and team-building skills are necessary to work with various technical disciplines and internal departments, including project management and the global legal team. The Candidate must show good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract negotiation and administration support for various sizes of Fisker projects, simultaneously.

  • Track contract completion and report results to business units, including executives.

  • Provide analysis identifying key terms, comparisons to Fisker standard agreements and recommend strategy to business as needed.

  • Develop and maintain templates, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics.

  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and processes impacting the legal and project management teams.

  • Support the legal team in preparation of training and presentations.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

    The role will require an ability to enable business objectives through innovative legal advice for complex matters relating to a variety of operational growth, retail, transactional, and risk management matters. The successful candidate will:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 3 years' experience as a contract manager or paralegal (preferably) at an automotive OEM or supplier.

  • Be an independent, self-starter and take full ownership of the role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal issues to business clients, management, and legal colleagues.

  • Collaborative, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others

  • Proficient at Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Adobe

  • Additional Requirements.

  • Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required.
  • Expected Salary Range : $61,600.00- $115,600.00 per annum.

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
