What to Expect

We have an opportunity for a Data Analyst position to support Tesla Energy Technical Training and Content, bringing data insights from various organizations' teams/functions to aid data-driven projects to improve content/training effectiveness and team efficiency. A successful candidate will have technical proficiency regarding collecting, measuring, organizing, and analyzing data, as well as designing database architecture. An educational background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and information management is required. Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle R, and Python is also necessary. Knowledge of Java is highly desired.

What You'll Do

•Analyze and visualize training data to enable better tracking of knowledge transfer/retention, and identify knowledge gaps that need improvement.

•Analyze and visualize training data to aid in trainer performance management and team growth management.

•Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business contexts and create data-driven solutions.

What You'll Bring

•SQL Proficiency

•Proficiency in database design

•Experience and knowledge of data visualization software, such as Tableau,

•Advanced user of MS Excel for statistical analysis

•Strong mathematical and analytical skills establishing accurate algorithms to collect useful data and derive meaningful and actionable insights.

•Problem solving skills

•Troubleshooting with attention to detail.

•Strong work ethic

•Two or more years of experience working as a data analyst.

Requirements (DESIRED)

•Proficiency in Java, able to create user applications to support business needs.

•Ability to contribute in all phases of the application development lifecycle, including database building.

•Two or more years of working experience as a Java application engineer.

•Able to share and explain each line of code.
