Role Summary:

In this position, you will be a seasoned data professional fluent in all forms of Bill of Materials. You will be a leader in driving accountability and accuracy across the data facilitated by the New Product Introduction team. The opening will be located at our Normal, IL facility and reports directly to the Engineering Data Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Collecting, processing, and cleaning large datasets
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify patterns, relationships, and trends
  • Visualizing and communicating insights to stakeholders through interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to develop key metrics to drive results
  • Supporting data-driven decision making by providing ad-hoc analysis and modeling as needed
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, or statistics
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a related data field
  • Strong analytical / visualization skills in SQL, Tableau, Excel, Python, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills: ability to explain complex topics to non- technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong Microsoft Suite Knowledge (Excel)
  • Automotive knowledge is a plus
