Role Overview
As a Product Manager of Vehicle Digital Products, you will identity, help create and bring to implementation a new dimension of customer benefit through digital products. You will represent customers current and future needs in front of the development team, lead break through digital products ideation. You will be up to date on competitive features, technologies and experiential trends and produce robust actionable recommendations with strong business cases.
Responsibilities
Working with teams across Fisker, US domestic and international, your key responsibilities are to deliver:
Market/Competitive analysis and intelligence on automotive technology features
Consumer electronics insights & trends impacting automotive industry in present & future
Development of business cases for implementation of new technology offerings
Intimate understanding of vehicle's focus customer psychographic/ demographic needs
Identifying new technology product opportunities to satisfy customers' unmet needs through in-vehicle technologies
Deep understanding of the customer journey and experience and development of vehicle/feature requirements designed to deliver excellence in customer experience
Product performance monitoring & cost modeling
Technology Products Pricing strategy
Support Go-to-market communications activities
Feature value assessment and change management
This job is extremely cross-functional and requires strong and effective communication to manage, motivate and influence large teams with competing priorities.
Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
At least 3 years work experience in product management/planning with a focus on Hardware & Software technology products
Experience in automotive industry a plus
Hands-on product planning/management experience during all phases of the development cycle
Passionate about Electric Vehicles, and helping to chart the future of the automotive industry
Intellectual curiosity, creativity and appreciation for the power of design, along with love of detail, a strong analytical ability and financial acumen
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to multiple teams and executive level partners
Understanding of US domestic and international automotive technology environment
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies
Bachelor's degree
MBA preferred
Statistical data analysis experience preferred
Positive attitude, team player, collaborator
Results oriented, attention to both “big picture” as well as detail
Must be a self starter and adept at managing multiple projects, sometimes under tight deadlines
Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient in MTAB, Confluence, Jira, experience with Tableu
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required
Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends where needed to meet deadlines and company goals
Expected Salary Range: $89,000-$148,000 a year.
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
