We are seeking a Full-Time Director of IT to join our lean and agile team.
This role will work out of our Mesa, Arizona location at 8127 E. Ray Rd,
Mesa, AZ 85212. The primary purpose of this job is to proactively evaluate,
plan, and direct, all information technology overall functioning, including
overall Company systems administration, helpdesk management, IT asset
management, ERPs, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and building IT
installation. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all users
across the business are fully supported and optimally functioning on all
platforms at all times.
General Responsibilities
Ensures that all users across the business are fully supported and

Partners with departmental leaders to provide strategic recommendations
for all inter- and intra-departmental IT initiatives.
Develops and implements appropriate cybersecurity strategies that fully
secure the Company's data/resources.
Oversees the procurement, distribution and tracking of all IT assets.
Manages third-party IT vendor relationships, choosing cost-effective
options, and the measurement of their ongoing performance.
Directs, manages, trains and coaches the IT team around expected
performance and outcomes.
Ensures that ERP implementation, maintenance, and support are carried out
in an effective and efficient manner.
Researches and recommends new technologies for the organization to improve
efficiency and effectiveness.
Acts as the project manager for all technology implementation.
Develops, maintains, and updates the organizations disaster readiness plan
to ensure operations can quickly recover in the event of an IT emergency.
Cyber Security & Compliance Support Responsibilities
Leads the partnership with third-party providers on digital operations
with cybersecurity measures commensurate with relevant risks supported
with business collaboration.
Leads the coordination of security implementation and security audits to
ensure on-going compliance.
Evaluates system performance and security reports against demand forecasts
and cybersecurity gaps respectively to support remediation efforts for
current and future requirements gaps.
Communicates with management the necessary resources needed to make
relevant, measurable improvements for a secure IT service
Assures all digital activities are performed within the parameters of
applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
Team Management
Manages, mentors and develops a team of IT professionals providing
leadership and guidance.
Conducts performance management and sets goals with their team members.
Establish a level of accountability within their team, through empowering
and establishing clear responsibilities.
Displays dedication, time management, cadence and effectively elevates
their team when needed.
Assists with recruiting and building an effective IT team.
Other duties as required by your Manager.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science,
software engineering, or a related field.
Masters or MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 15+ years' leadership experience in IT support and
coordination. Preferably for a growing organization.
Experience with SAP ERP system is considered an asset.
Proven experience with IT infrastructure and services.
Demonstrable experience in translating technical information to business &
security requirements to non-technical audiences.
Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network
installation.
Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support,
wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
Proficient in public and private cloud (Azure/AWS) console and tenancy
management.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including Server, M365, Exchange
and Active Directory
Proficient with using network and application security and monitoring
tools to support cybersecurity objectives.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize
tasks.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Understanding of industry programming languages are an asset e.g., Java,
C, C++, Python.
Relevant industry certifications are an asset e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISA,
Fortinet NSE Level 4
Flexible working hours.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
