Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director of Sales Planning to lead our sales planning efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, overseeing sales forecasting, and optimizing sales performance across various markets and product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and market trends.

  • Sales forecasting and analysis: Utilize market data, historical trends, and competitor analysis to create accurate sales forecasts. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Sales planning and budgeting: Lead the creation of sales plans, budgets, and targets in alignment with overall business objectives. Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize sales efficiency and profitability.

  • Market and product analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and recommend product enhancements or new offerings.

  • Team leadership and collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and integration of sales strategies.

  • Communication and reporting: Prepare and present regular reports and updates on sales performance, forecasts, and strategies to senior management. Communicate key findings and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales planning, strategy development, or a related field within the automotive industry, preferably in electric vehicles or sustainable technology.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and market research.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Expected Salary Range

    $128,590.00 to $211,255.00 per year.

    Additional Compensation

    Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
