What to Expect
Tesla is looking for an Electrical General Foreman to join the infrastructure
self-perform team to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-
Construction project that requires exceptional talent. The product portfolio
is expanding with never-built-before production lines, and requirements demand
cell production volume at a scale which was once thought to be impossible to
reach. Our environment is fast-paced and incredibly exciting. Required

Sparks, NV.
What You'll Do
Utilize management software to maintain schedule updates, work requests,
RFI's, and daily reports for multiple crews assigned multiple scopes
Use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to estimate costs,
manpower, time, and equipment needed to complete scopes of work
Conduct pre-employment interviews with all applicants for hire
Report all accidents, injuries, near misses, and incidents to Safety and
Management Follow up with formal report the same day prior to end of shift
Assign Foreman/Crew with NFPA 70E training to supervise any persons
performing energized work to include 0 voltage verifications after de-
energizing circuits
Review and plan appropriate equipment and materials for project
Review Project schedule weekly and note any delays, changes, or
deficiencies to Project management Team
Lead by example in a professional workmanlike manner, be a role model for
crew Foreman, and challenge all employees to achieve excellence
Work with Constructability, specifically on all Design Assist or Design
Build projects (take ownership of the process to achieve optimum
results)
Manage and track all tools, make sure that the appropriate number of tools
are matched to the crew size, return all defective tools with tool tag
with a brief description of problem
Organize project execution and manpower allocation
What You'll Bring
Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Electrician Foreman level or higher
experience in industrial or commercial settings
Must have OSHA 30 (or better) training
Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment
Proficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book
Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC with experience
in medium voltage a plus
Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting of PLCs, motor
controls, drives, and electronic components a plus
Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
Ability to install electrical equipment and circuit modification
Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based off drawings or field
walks and routing
Ability to produce as-built drawing for work performed
Ability to test and commission all work per Tesla procedures and building
department code
Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as
required
Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly
evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis
on identifying electrical hazards and proper safety procedures
Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft. high
Must have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact
with all levels of management; must have a high degree of initiative, and
the ability to work alone and effectively with other people
Knowledge of project/ management software for scheduling, reporting, and
tracking such as Microsoft Projects, Excel, Wrike, PlanGrid, and Aconex
