Role Overview
Fisker Inc is looking for an experienced professional and leader, who oversee global financial accounting, multiple financial functions, translating our financial strategies into action, plans, reporting requirements, procedures and processes. The Global Corporate Controller will report directly to the CAO and work closely with the CFO/COO and FP&A and Treasury teams. As a high- growth, global company, Fisker's footprint outside the United States is expanding rapidly. The Global Corporate Controller will play a key role in the formation of legal entities and compliance with local-country financial reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
The expectation of this individual is that they will be responsible for global oversight of the Company's accounting processes, financial reporting, consolidation, and financial systems.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes.
Ensures that all financial statements and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner and that key internal controls are executed consistently, and evidence of control operation is maintained.
Manages vehicle accounting, global financial close, and operations accounting including – revenue, inventories, long-lived assets, general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement focused on scaling the organization and automation to shorten the close cycle, reduce risk and improve decision making.
Optimize reporting and automation of financial reporting within SAP, including development of dashboards for senior leadership.
Gather, interpret, and deliver insights that shape financial strategic decision making, including global accounting policies, procedures, and internal control for both consolidated and local country reporting.
Oversee consistent application of global accounting policies and procedures.
Work closely with FP&A team on reporting efforts related to senior leadership presentations, budgeting, monthly forecasting, and reporting of actuals.
Prepare executive presentations, including financial reporting, comprehensive business analyses and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
Collaborate across IT, finance, legal, sales and marketing functions to ensure adherence to US GAAP and other reporting and compliance standards.
Key point of contact for external audit, regulators, and internal audit/compliance during audits, quarterly reviews, regulatory exams, statutory audits and explain and document various transactions, business process and internal controls
Responsible for all Ad Hoc information/analysis requests from the CEO, CFO/COO and CAO
Required Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience and proven record of leading high- performing, diverse teams at publicly traded companies
BS/MS in Accounting
US CPA required.
Strong knowledge of key US GAAP accounting topics: revenue, inventories, leases, share-based payments, long-lived assets, foreign currency, and consolidation; as well as familiarity with IFRS and SEC regulations
Automotive OEM or Tier One experiences in most recent positions.
Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to build processes and policies.
Partners well with cross-functional teams and seeks to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness.
Self-starter who can work as part of a geographically diverse team.
Strong attention to detail; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Credible, ethical; ability to always maintain professionalism.
Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues in plain language.
Solid computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP).
Must have ability to handle confidential matters and information, strong business acumen.
Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Expected Salary Range : $160,000- $250,000
Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
