Role Overview Fisker is looking for a high performing Associate, Home Delivery for Canada, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the sales and delivery process for Canada Fisker customers and internal stakeholders. This position will be responsible for facilitating vehicle deliveries from Fisker or 3rd party facilities to customers across Canada. This role will work closely with stakeholders in logistics to strengthen Fisker's Canadian distribution network. This includes but isn't limited to, ensuring that all customer required sales, finance, registration, delivery paperwork, and processes are completed and collected prior to delivery. And ensure all funds have been collected and checks for accuracy to ensure that all information is complete.
Responsibilities: • Manage vehicle flows from Fisker or 3rd party facilities to designated destinations by Customers • Work close together with Sales, Aftersales and Logistics Departments as well as Third Party Service Providers • Maintain databases of logistics information • Monitor the flow of vehicles to meet the requirements • Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, reliability, supply chain management, provider's information • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes • Prepare reports on logistics performance measures • Enter logistics-related data into systems(database) • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, delivery processes, etc • Work with IT to maintain data incorporated in the systems correctly such as pricing and logistics information • Audit and process invoices in a timely manner • Assist with Special Moves Administration support as needed • Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to the Supervisor • Coordinate with the Sales, Delivery and Order Operations teams to ensure that all required documents pertaining to the vehicle purchase are complete and accurate prior to delivery. • Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives. • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders where required • Assist with the facilitation and scheduling of Home Delivery of the customers vehicle when requested • Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Logistics, preferably at an automotive industry • Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/ transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures • Knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics in Canada including legislation, import/export regulations, and legal requirements • Knowledge of principles for moving vehicles by rail, road and sea along with White Glove Services (preferred experience in delivering new or used vehicles to end customers) • IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and customer data systems • Advanced Excel skills along with good utilization of MS Offices • Well organized and detail-oriented • Strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills • Proactive mind-set of task taking, learning and understanding industry and business
