Overview

The intern will be responsible for creating engineering reporting process, document format and record retention process. The processes established should be an insight to departmental KPI's be high quality, efficient and where possible automated.

A secondary responsibility will be to support test engineers prepare test vehicles and execute durability, and functional tests at the proving ground.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the department KPI's and create efficient processes to measure them
  • Establish a clean repository of captured vehicle test data including agreed reporting formats
  • Create local procedures that explain best practice for reporting, record retention and acquired knowledge.
  • Additional responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of prototype vehicles that have a specific test mission.
  • Support test engineers and technicians with data collection pre, during and posttest.
  • With “fresh eyes” review the test procedures and identify any deviation or potential improvement to test methods
  • Qualifications

  • In-person in Marysville, Ohio. No travel anticipated.
