Role Overview:

As an Engineering Lab Technician will be a key contributor to our engineering team, playing a critical role in the design, validation, and testing of wiring harnesses for both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) applications. Your expertise in circuit schematics, EMI/EMC standards, and knowledge of harness subcomponents will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.

In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on tasks such as manual creation and setup of wiring harnesses for bench testing, as well as proficiency in manual crimping techniques. You will also play a vital role in standardizing and validating harnesses and updating project Design Verification (DV) Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design circuit schematics based on customer inputs for HV & LV applications.

  • Implement EMI/EMC standards to create wiring harnesses.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of harness subcomponents such as clamps, protection types, wires, fuses, relays, etc.

  • Hands-on experience in manual creation and setup of wiring harnesses for bench testing.

  • Proficient in manual crimping techniques.

  • Standardize and validate harnesses, and update project DV (Design Verification) Plans.

  • Demonstrate expertise in automotive EV vehicle electrical components and devices (e.g., Motor, ECU, VCU, DC-DC, Inverter, HMI, etc.).

  • Requirements:

  • Diploma or Engineering degree in Automotive, Electrical, or a related technical field, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar field.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of automotive Indian & International standards.

  • Ability to apply engineering principles, concepts, and practices with precision.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of tooling and materials process validation.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
