What to Expect
Quality Operations is seeking a highly motivated Team Lead that is ready to
take on challenges in a fast pace environment to improve Tesla's Quality for
Model 3. Seeking team building leader, self-motivation, and high-quality
standards. Team Lead will work with cross functional teams and give overall
support to his team of inspectors.
What You'll Do
In the absence of direct Supervisor, will step in as acting Supervisor
Maintain Training Certifications
Conducts Fault Injections and Inspector Calibration
Work closely with direct superior to manage and prioritize staffing
assignments to meet the team objectives
Coordinate Inspector training to improve versatility without affecting
business flow
Work closely with cross functional team such as Technicians, QE,
Production Management and PC to resolve issues.
Work as liaison for Quality and Cross Functional Team
Initiate immediate lineside sort & containment on line down situation
Ensure daily audits are completed and submitted in timely manner
Drive objectives and make judgement considering safety, quality and
efficiency
Drives continuous-improvement & projects
Provides first level of root cause based upon observation

What You'll Bring
2+ years' experience in automotive diagnosis, servicing, and repair techniques
of automobiles (may be substituted for experience in production at Tesla).
· Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
· Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
· Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Associate Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology or the equivalent
in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
