General Role Overview:
Fisker Inc. is looking for a Finance Operations Manager, who reports directly to the European Director Financial Services and Insurance and will be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations and the operational activities that support vehicle sales and deliveries in European markets. The role is crucial for helping our customers obtain the best sales to delivery journey experience and to ensure solid collaboration with our finance partners. The incumbent will be a key person to ensure fast cash collection, timely refunds and overall accounts receivable optimization. The role offers significant growth opportunity assuming more responsibility during Fisker's rapid Europe expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth and seamless operational processes related to customer payment and financing for Fisker customers.
Optimize Accounts Receivable and Collections from all revenue streams in the market and resolve funding delay cases within assigned SLA timelines.
Manage pipelines and ensure smooth processes for local billing, incentive activity, refunds, cancellations and revenue recognition.
Manage daily pipeline of operational tasks related to vehicle financing and ensure accurate and timely collection of documents for payment
Analyze metrics and operational performance of financial partners, identify areas of improvement, and work towards automation, process simplification, and excellent customer service
Collaborate with Financial Services, Sales, Customer Relations, Accounting, Treasury, Legal and other central teams to improve processes and customer/internal journey
Align finance partners on Fisker's payment, remittance, refunds processes and educate Sales organization on finance processes
Prepare analytics around financial product penetration rates and other management KPIs and create executive communications including dashboards and decks for the Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership
Contribute cross-functionally and assist with other key projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus
Min. 3- 5 years of professional prior work experience, preferred in automotive financial operations
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
Great interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor.
Excellent fluency in English, other European languages preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
Automotive OEM or automotive finance experience considered a plus.
Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Superior attention to details together with ability to execute fast on high volume of repetitive tasks is a must
High-energy and composed personality that can work confidently across internal and external stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce and/or SAP considered a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong decision-making capabilities
Results-oriented, attention to both “big picture” as well as detail.
