General Role Overview:
Fisker Inc is looking for a Financial Services Manager, who reports directly
to the European Director Financial Services and Insurance, and is responsible
for managing partnerships with financial institutions while working closely
across all functions to ensure the best possible customer experience when
financing, leasing and insuring a vehicle. It involves defining and
streamlining existing financial services operational processes, introducing
new finance products to markets, resolving customer issues, providing training
and closely interacting with Fisker's sales and delivery teams. This is a
critical role that requires an attitude of ownership, leadership and customer
service, exceptional organizational skills and analytical skills. Knowledge of
automotive finance products, especially in European markets, is highly
desired. The role offers significant growth opportunity assuming more
responsibility during the roll-out phase of the Financial Services team across
Europe.
Nature of Work
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Fisker financing partners relationships, define efficient processes
and resolve customer financing issues
Take ownership and improve operational process in the entire finance
product journey
Design and facilitate ad hoc and formal training sessions of customer-
facing colleagues on financial services partnerships, products, and
processes
Identify areas of opportunity within the financing process and
collaboratively design and implement solutions
Prepare analytics around financial product penetration rates and other
management KPIs
Create executive communications including dashboards and decks for the
Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership
Serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert for questions and
issues surrounding the financing process
Support financial analysis for business strategies and provide
recommendations to functional teams and management for decision-making
Support the development of strategic plans for optimized productivity
Contribute cross-functionally and assist with other key projects as
needed.
Specifications for the job:
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus
Min. 3 - 5 years of professional prior work experience, preferred in
Financial Services (or related areas)
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
Great interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication
skills.
An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual
contributor.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
Expertise in asset financing/leasing is desired
Passion and keen interest for building our innovative financial services
department
High-energy and composed personality that can work confidently with large
banks and leasing companies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce and/or
SAP considered a plus
Ability to work independently and quickly without compromising excellence
Capacity to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, to be adaptable to
change, both big and small
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong decision-making capabilities
Results oriented, attention to both “big picture” as well as detail.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
Excellent fluency in English, other European languages preferred.
Automotive OEM or automotive finance experience considered a plus.
