Travel

  • General Role Overview

    The Manager, Mobile Service is responsible for the tactical implementation and management of our Mobile Service team, including the required Mobile Service Technicians readiness and deployment in strategic geographical locations. This leadership position requires an experienced EV service professional who has provided expertise and leadership in mobile service- related processes, systems, tools, and resources.

    The successful candidate will have technical expertise and a solid understanding of EV vehicle repair. A passion for and a deep understanding of the latest EV technologies with proven experience delivering advanced technical expertise with another OEM. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech and customer obsessed environment with a diverse set of stakeholders in multiple geographic locations and adaptability to change is a must.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company strategy for US Mobile Service and manage US Mobile Service operations.

  • Build a high performing Mobile Service Team and create a positive environment by fostering open communication and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Manage and mentor Mobile Service Technicians to improve operational key performance indicators (KPI's), such as “Fix Right The First Time”, response and deployment time, and customer satisfaction.

  • Establish efficient processes to identify and report Mobile Service operational issues in the field.

  • Define requirements for and ensure procurement of Mobile Service vans.

  • Collaborate with Service Teams to monitor, investigate and solve emerging operational, technical, and commercial issues.

  • Influence required Aftersales training requirements.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed education or vocational training as an Automotive Technician (or comparable training). Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience successfully managing an Automotive Mobile Service team.

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Practical experience in Mobile Service.

  • Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement.

  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and to meet tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to take ownership of jobs and work independently beyond assigned position to successfully complete them.

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.

  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external partners at all levels within the organization and to represent Fisker in a professional manner.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Additional language skills are a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Must be willing to work early hours, late hours, and/or weekends to meet deadlines and goals for a global company.

  • May be exposed to service workshop environment that requires lifting moderate weights, standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc.

  • Expected Salary Range

    $67,480.00 to $166,300.00 per year.

    Additional Compensation

    Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
