We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Sales Volume Planning (Automotive) to oversee the development of sales volume plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in forecasting sales, setting targets, and aligning sales volume planning with overall business objectives.
This role may require commuting and, if applicable, relocating, to the Los Angeles metropolitan area to work on-site with our Executive Team at our Global Headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California.
Sales Volume Forecasting: Lead the development of accurate sales volume forecasts based on market analysis, historical data, industry trends, and input from various stakeholders. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to gather inputs for forecasts.
Sales Target Setting: Establish sales volume targets aligned with business objectives, market demand, product availability, and production capacity. Ensure that targets are ambitious yet realistic.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including customer segmentation, competitor analysis, and market trends, to identify opportunities and risks that impact sales volume planning.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales volume growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition. Provide input on product pricing, promotions, and sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Collaborative Forecasting: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in sales volume planning. Facilitate regular meetings to review and adjust plans based on evolving market dynamics.
Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to track sales volume against targets. Analyze performance data and generate insights to identify areas for improvement and course corrections.
Scenario Planning and Risk Management: Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to anticipate potential changes in market conditions. Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and uncertainties.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Communicate sales volume plans, progress, and deviations from targets effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in sales volume planning, sales forecasting, or a related role within the automotive industry or a similar sector.
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and forecasting methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to think critically, make data-driven decisions, and adapt plans based on changing market conditions.
Leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate cross- functional teams.
Expected Salary Range: $90,000- 155,000 per year
Additional Compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
