The role is based in LaPalma/Huntington Beach, CA (Hybrid schedule)
Role Overview
We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist with experience in new hire orientation and with onboarding a high volume of employees. In this role you will consistently monitor the overall employee onboarding experience and employee satisfaction. This role will build a best-in-class onboarding and orientation experience, that constantly improves and iterates as we scale.
Candidates for this role must have strong communication skills to maximize engagement in a frequently evolving landscape. The right candidate has experience managing multiple projects, juggling multiple priorities at once, and has the business acumen to engage with executive management.
Responsibilities
Own all things related to the onboarding experience from the start of the offer acceptance stage, for all employees.
Assist in the delivery of new hire orientation and welcome all our team members in a fun environment that helps them onboard to Fisker as quickly as possible.
Serve as the point of contact to all new hires for: start date, relocation, onboarding paperwork, first day details, orientation, and new hire training, etc.
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure new hire information is accurate.
Ensure that all onboarding changes are communicated to all stakeholders.
Communicate with internal teams to make sure equipment is sent out, office space is planned, hiring manager is prepped for new hire's arrival.
Work closely with IT to track all equipment being sent to new hires prior to first day and communicate to new hires.
Work with the Facilities team to ensure new hires are greeted and acclimated to their respective offices.
Suggest and implement meaningful changes in both the content of orientation experience and onboarding process holistically.
Consult with department leaders and line managers on department-specific Onboarding needs and tools.
Serve as the point of contact for the employee experience from time of offer to first 90 days.
In conjunction with HRBP(s) analyze attrition and where the onboarding experience can help with retention.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
You have minimum 2+ years of HR/onboarding/orientation or training experience.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field
Hands-on experience with employee training or orientation
You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
You have strong project management and organization skills combined with strong attention to detail.
You analyze data and use that data to improve future processes and policies.
You are familiar with Workday, ADP, Microsoft Office suite (Including Teams)
You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Expected Salary Range: $37,100.00 - $70,000 a year.
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
