Job Location: This position is located in SFO, CA and minimum 4 days of work in office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Defining QA strategy connected car products that span web, mobile, cloud and in-car software.
Perform over-the-air (OTA) testing for Fisker's modules and vehicles
Perform Pre-Delivery and Inspection (PDI) of the cars using Fisker Portal
Defining the QA process and best practices in coordination with product, engineering, and DevOps teams.
Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting of quality metrics towards delivering high-quality well-tested software on-time
Setup test cases using a combination black box testing along with edge case testing and achieve superior quality with a user-centric mindset
Advocate for best practices on test automation, documentation, and delivery of robust software on tight schedules
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
Experience working with testing of microservices in a Cloud-based environment is a plus.
Experienced in mobile testing in Android and iOS.
Knowledge in REST API testing using Postman, experience in SQL, SAP /SF. Experience in test planning, strategy, and execution.
Experience designing and planning test conditions, scripts and data sets to ensure adequate coverage.
Experienced working in a fast-paced environment with Agile and Scrum processes
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for continuous improvement of SW quality and learning of best practices.
Expected Salary Range : $82,000-$102,000 a year.
Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
