General Role Overview:
The PDI Technicians inspect and service new vehicles before delivery to the customers as well as make minor repairs or adjustments to ensure the saleable condition of the vehicles. They are the core of our service business and provide the best-in-class service of Fisker electric vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will fulfill Fisker's Service Commitment with technical expertise, style, speed, and skill utilizing a digital forward approach
Proficiently perform Pre-Delivery Inspections, as well as other light-duty repairs and maintenance with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with Fisker standards
Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing vehicles for obvious damage, missing major components, loose or misaligned items, surface chips, imperfections, and scratches
Perform required surface touch up using brush applicator and factory- supplied matching paint
Drive in an assigned route to verify common customer functions to ensure proper operations
Setup customer preference per vehicle order prior to delivery
Conduct short vehicle diagnostics and any required Over the Air software updates
Thoroughly wash, vacuum and clean vehicles as well as perform additional detail service as required
Immediately report any safety concerns to management
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Experience working in automotive maintenance, repair or trade school or community college experience
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and standardized shop equipment
Fluent spoken and written English, additional language(s) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
Motivated to work without direct supervision, an independent initiative- taker with a sense of urgency
Desire to perform in a high-pressure environment and to meet tight deadlines
Extremely organized and meticulous
Maintain prominent levels of technical knowledge, and up to date training
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, and in a mobile service unit
Must be willing to work overtime, early or late hours and on weekends as needed to meet deadlines and goals for a Global company.
Exposed to service workshop environment that requires lifting moderate weights, standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc.
