What to Expect

Tesla's Collision Repair department is looking for someone to join the Collision Repair Development Team as a Program Manager to support the repair and maintenance optimization of current and future Tesla products. As a program manager, you will help set the requirements and provide key feedback to Design and Engineering teams to enhance vehicle Collision Repair. You will interface with operations, finance, engineering, production, and global supply chain to define and drive this.

What You'll Do

· Act as central point of contact for communication between Collision and Design for new and existing products

· Develop and maintain Collision Repair requirements and communicate to stakeholder teams

· Combine hands-on field experience and CAD reviews to forecast technician and Collision constraints for new products

· Quantify the impact to business by creating business cases for identified constraints, leveraging historical repair order data

· Champion improved technician safety and ergonomics during repair and maintenance

· Highlight key takeaways from weekly meetings and disseminate to relevant Collision teams

· Join vehicle integration meetings and enforce Collision repair requirements

· Provide regular updates to keep the organization and business informed of progress and raise risks with urgency

· Attend integration trials and early vehicle builds to perform physical evaluations of prototype/pre-production parts

· Drive the prioritization and completion of Collision Repair design projects impacting Collision center turnaround time and technician productivity

· Maintain Jira project and weekly progress tracker in support of multiple product launches

· Review consumption data, total FRT, and repairability to analyze and identify improvements, to project plan and action on

· Drive innovative initiatives to reduce repair complexity and cycle time

· Any additional needs deemed necessary by the business

· Ability to travel internationally up to 25%

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability; associate's or bachelor's degree or certificate preferred

• Experience navigating ambiguous environments and shifting responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years experience in the collision field

• Proven track record of implementing cross-functional initiatives and scaling businesses

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Relentless drive and the ability to operate well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Proficiency with common workplace software (Microsoft Office).

• JIRA experience or other relevant project management
