  • Role Overview

    Fisker Inc. is in search of a Purchasing Analyst, EE/SW to support our buyers with process definitions, cost analysis, and administrative support. A Purchasing Analyst ensures the delivery of business outcomes through a structured approach to problem solving, leveraging lean techniques, and data analyses. This role also brings outstanding skills in leadership, analysis, critical thinking, conflict management, and risk management. You will work across the organization to ensure upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned. You will be responsible for defining and creating standard operating procedures within the Purchasing organization and supporting the buyers in their day-to-day activities. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources, and solve problems quickly and effectively. A dedicated team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels and across business boundaries is required to be successful in this position.

    Responsibilities

  • Tracking Open PO's and payment status.

  • Defining and outlining Purchasing processes.

  • Creating process flowcharts and training material.

  • Tracking Purchasing deliverables with weekly reporting.

  • Supplier Readiness Tracking.

  • Support buyers in supplier negotiations.

  • Identify process and communication disconnects and pro-actively explore solutions.

  • Support Program Operations in overall program delivery.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Explorer.

  • Proven history of creating and utilizing analysis to guide Purchasing decisions and establishing best practices.

  • Proven history of working on automotive vehicle delivery programs.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Independent / self-starting.

  • Punctual and dependable.

  • Good working ethic and collaborator.

  • Eager to learn.

  • Superior relationship skills in creating and fostering working relationships within Purchasing, internal business areas and supplier.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Expected Salary Range : $15.88 - $44.25 per hour.

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, considering the wide variety of factors listed above.
