  • Role Overview

    The Purchasing Manager, Aftersales Operations will provide leadership, oversight, and management of sourcing, negotiating, and awarding service contracts to a achieve Aftersales departmental goals and objectives. Management of buyers and suppliers for quality, on time deliverables, non- conformances, financial performance, metrics, and risks associated with supplier or contractors.

    This position requires an experienced purchasing professional with proven service and parts operations support interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Responsibility involves a considerable amount of initiative, strategy, and analytical work, including quarterly business reviews. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for and a deep understanding of Aftersales, specifically service and collision operations. You exhibit a can-do attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic, demanding environment to ensure positive customer experiences and competitive commercial support for Fisker.

    Responsibilities

  • Establish goals, objectives, and KPI's for team and ensure team delivers results.

  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor performance of buyer team.

  • Leverage Aftersales Business Operations experience to establish scalable business partnerships while collaborating with stakeholders to understand internal and external business operations models.

  • Monitor performance of suppliers to defined performance criteria.

  • Understand regional regulations that affect service operations and ensure supplier conformance.

  • Develop dealership service and parts pricing plans and annual savings plans.

  • Integrate initiatives, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, and contracting strategies.

  • Manage supplier quotations, statements of work, negotiations and award long-term contracts while ensuring necessary capacity and on time contract placement.

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions and recommend contract awards to sourcing council.

  • Establish and maintain internal and external relationships.

  • Conduct risk assessments, benchmarking, issues, and opportunities management.

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • Improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.

  • Track project changes to ensure overall spend is within budgeted approval levels.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree and relevant experience in managing function objectives.

  • 7+ years of experience in service provider program purchasing.

  • Intimate understanding of automotive service and parts operations.

  • Proven experience leading teams, developing buyers, establishing, and executing strategy.

  • Ability to gather information, analyze data and provide recommendations.

  • Ability to negotiate with vendors independently and identify cost saving opportunities.

  • Comfortable in a demanding environment and be able to effectively interface with cross functional teams and management.

  • Basic knowledge of ERP, fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred.

  • Ability to develop, manage and mentor direct reports for business-critical projects.

  • Interface with Key Internal and External Stakeholders to drive leadership agenda.

  • Travel as needed.

  • Expected Salary Range : $67,340.00 - $147,590.00 per year.

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, considering the wide variety of factors listed above.
