Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain an inventory stocking program which ensures replenishment when stocked items go below program safety stock levels. Work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure that planned and unplanned parts are available and meet cost and quality targets. The program's objective is to drive to no lines down due to maintenance parts shortages. Responsible for:
  • Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and factory consumables
  • Service Parts to support regular replacement for routine maintenance and servicing to prevent wear and ensure the continued performance and reliability of a system
  • Spare Parts to ensure spare parts are in stock based on expected wear out or failure rate over time
  • Identify areas of improvement or concern around MRO and consumables spending and consumption patterns. Create a business management system and metrics for tracking program effectiveness and implement changes based on historical trends.
  • Ability to develop RFQ/RFPs and lead business through the entire cycle documenting findings and presenting to Sourcing Council for final approval.
  • Issue PO's using SAP for MRO & Consumables, Service and Spare Parts for both stocked and non-stocked material.
  • Create and contribute to company cost reduction program(s).
  • Work closely, collaborate and communicate efficiently with all internal and external stakeholders to include production, maintenance and engineering teams to understand their spare and service part requirements and ensure timely procurement.

  • On Time Delivery: Ensure stakeholder(s) (internal and external) receive products/services within expected timelines.
  • On Time Ordering: Confirm that orders are completed and received.
  • Milestones: Manage teams to meet company milestones
  • SAP Supplier Setup and Management
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), or related discipline and/or equivalent experience in manufacturing management
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Equipment Maintenance (Automotive preferred)
  • Experience with RFP/RFQ process and ability to screen qualified suppliers for quotation
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Written and verbal skills
  • Exceptional organizational ability with good follow-up skills and attention to detail are a must.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various teams including manufacturing, engineers, finance, legal and supply chain personnel.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Language proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus

  • Annual Salary Range:

    ($79,000 to $97,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
