Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Sales Controller to oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting within our sales department. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in monitoring sales performance, optimizing financial processes, and providing insights to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development of sales budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with the sales leadership team.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support sales strategy development.

  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Establish and maintain robust reporting systems to track sales performance, revenue trends, margins, and expenses. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.

  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Create and maintain financial models to support sales forecasting, revenue projections, and scenario planning. Analyze market trends and customer data to inform financial projections.

  • Pricing Strategy and Analysis: Collaborate with sales and pricing teams to develop and evaluate pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and market conditions. Analyze pricing structures for profitability and competitiveness. Cost Control and

  • Margin Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost optimization, margin improvement, and revenue enhancement within the sales function. Implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.

  • Financial Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and compliance standards within the sales department. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to mitigate financial risks.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, sales, marketing, and operations, to align financial objectives and support strategic initiatives.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.

  • Proven experience (X+ years) in financial analysis, controlling, or a related role, preferably within the automotive industry or high-tech sector.

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills preferred.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Expected Salary Range: $86,380.00 – $212,86.00 a year.

    Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
