What to Expect

The “Americas Utility Energy Team” focuses on development of front-of-the- meter battery energy storage projects for customers including electric utilities, independent power producers and renewable energy developers. The team is growing rapidly in both size and impact as grid scale storage deployments accelerate.

The Sales Team Specialist will play a central role in coordinating the internal activities of the sales team, including pipeline management, executive reporting, development of new processes to streamline the sales cycle, and directly managing proposal writers. Besides a strong work ethic and a team-oriented personality, the Sales Team Specialist is expected to display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly growing technology and market landscape. This role reports directly to the Americas Sales Leaders and has the following responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Own and maintain the overall pipeline management of short, medium and long term opportunities for regular reporting, future forecasting, comp intel and other market analysis requirements.
  • Develop detailed understanding of energy storage markets to inform strategy and forecasting
  • Manage the day-to-day operational requirements of sales process including ownership of executive deal review preparation/execution, pipeline management, reporting and analytics
  • Define, develop, optimize and manage workflow processes in partnership with support organizations to maximize effectiveness of team
  • Coordinate closely across demand planning, business operations, finance, and market development teams.

  • What You'll Bring

  • Working knowledge of grid scale battery systems, renewables, and energy markets
  • Experience with team management, cross functional operations, and data management.
  • 4-6 years minimum work experience in the energy, finance, and/or technology fields
  • Deep passion for accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy
  • Ability to execute and manage many tasks in parallel
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in fast paced, dynamic settings
  • Expert in MS Office suite.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication skills- both internal and external facing.
