Role Summary As a Senior Accountant, you will ensure accurate inventory valuation for all operation accounting sites. You will proactively implement solutions to ensure solid manufacturing processes and internal controls are in place.


  • Performing monthly close activities related to inventory, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inventory accounting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, supply chain, engineering, and sales to ensure accurate and timely COGS reporting
  • Ability to prepare and review inventory reports, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile inventory transactions, variances, and discrepancies
  • Reconciling inventory accounts with general ledger and physical counts
  • Preparing inventory reports and schedules for management and external auditors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as managers, auditors, and business partners
  • Ensure inventory is properly stated, internal controls are adequate, and implement process improvements where needed
  • Support Physical Inventory (PI) count processes
  • Assists the Operational Controller with special projects as required.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with a concentration in Accounting, required
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/CPA Eligibility or a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting work experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to be adaptable to change
  • Constant desire to learn and challenge others to find the best solution
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems; experience with SAP is a requirement
