About the Role – You will:

  • Manage completion and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Ensure adequate documentation exists for all journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.; Review and approve journal entries.
  • Weekly and Monthly inventory reporting as well as reviewing and finalizing inventory at EOM
  • Prepare a variety of financial statements, reports and analysis, timely and accurately; Liaise with internal business partners for internal reporting.
  • Prepare audit schedules for external auditors as needed.
  • Work closely with all Departments on all transactions & processes and find opportunities for process improvements.
  • Continuously identify and develop solutions for process efficiency improvements to improve operations and productivity; Escalate issues and recommendations to management as appropriate.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned based on business need.

  • This position will be part of the Greer based Accounting team that supports Proterra's Manufacturing and Engineering operations in Greer, SC and Burlingame, CA.

  • Your Experience Includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accountant
  • Proficient use of Oracle
  • Solid understanding of general accounting concepts
  • Proven experience with reconciliation skills.
  • Experience with prioritization, meeting deadlines, working with others and follow through to execute all tasks.
  • Location: Greer, SC

    Travel: 0 - 10%
