Role Overview

Fisker Inc is seeking a Senior Analyst, Internal Controls & SOX Compliance is responsible for performing more complex internal control and SOX projects across the organization, ensuring that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively. This role will interact with all levels across the organization and build relationships with external and internal auditors. Reports directly to CAO and Director, Global Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform process walkthroughs to identify key activities, risks and controls.

  • Apply risk and control concepts to assess control design and develop a test approach for the key controls.

  • Test the effectiveness of the key controls identified.

  • Discuss with management and report control design deficiencies and controls not operating as designed.

  • Validate with management the resolution and implementation of corrective action plans.

  • Provide suggestions to management on ways to mitigate risk or enhance the effectiveness of processes.

  • Complete key requirements and workpapers independently with limited supervision.

  • Simultaneously work on multiple projects.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, finance, or risk management

  • 5 or more years of audit experience, with at least 2 years of experience in public accounting as an auditor of entities subject to an audit of internal control over financial reporting

  • Experiences at manufacturing entities, preferably automotive OEMs or suppliers

  • CPA, CIA, or CFE preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Partners well with cross-functional teams and seeks to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness

  • Self-starter who can work as part of a geographically diverse team.

  • Strong attention to detail; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Credible, ethical, understands the standards of a CPA; ability to always maintain professionalism

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues in plain language.

  • Strong computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP).

  • Expected Salary Range : $85,000- $105,000 Per Year

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
