Role Overview:

The Senior Director Facility & Structure Planning Manufacturing is responsible to steer and coordinate all Manufacturing and Program related activities with the Production Partner and the Program Team. This role is the active link between the Production Partner and the Program Team.

Main task is the Facility & Structure Planning Role for the entire factory. Additionally, the Senior Director will focus and oversee all activities for Stamping, Body Shop and Paint Shop.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources, provide clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks across the core and regional teams in order to ensure agreed deliverables.

  • Responsible for Facility & Structure Planning and Realization for structure and vehicle projects.

  • Coordinate and manage daily activities including but not limited to resource loading, monitoring factory & facility design and build progress, and communicating issues to appropriate stakeholders.

  • Lead engineering efforts for process and equipment designs/modifications and resource planning between all program and project team member.

  • Participate in team meetings, generate action items and follow up with team members.

  • Coordinate interdependent tasks and deliverables with other groups across the Fisker teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning and Process and Production Partner.

  • Produce comprehensive and elaborate spreadsheets, graphs and PowerPoint presentations for meetings and management reports.

  • Identify, maintain and ensure project milestones and related activities are fully met.

  • Ensure alignment between all individual contributors, internally, at the Suppliers and Production Partner.

  • Act as interface between Global Manufacturing and other cross functional teams and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Track, report and monitor all program and project activities.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Manufacturing and Project Management Role.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Leading Function in Production.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Process Improvement.

  • Experience in EV Launch.

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:

  • 10+ years demonstrable experience.

  • 5+ years' experience in automotive industry is highly preferred.

  • Experience in building extension, facility structure projects, brownfield and/or greenfield.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).

  • Proven ability to communicate to people at all levels within manufacturing organization.

  • Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention for details.

  • Experience with critical situation management.

  • High level of initiative and sound judgement.

  • Great understanding of product and process development processes.

  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required.
