Role Overview

Fisker is looking for a passionate Specialist, Truck Operations, to join our growing logistics team. You will be responsible for facilitating vehicle flows from the factory to delivery points across Europe. This role will work closely with stakeholders in logistics to strengthen the network of Fisker's distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle flows by truck from the factory to delivery points across Europe
  • Work closely together with our Logistics Service Providers in Europe
  • Monitor the flow of vehicles to meet the requirements on quality, cost and time
  • Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, reliability, supply chain management and provider's information
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes
  • Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, product volumes or carriers and advise on process & flow optimization
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance measures & own logistics-related databases
  • Assist with Special Moves Administration
  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Sustainability; or an apprenticeship (Ausbildung) in the logistics sector (e.g. Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English, other European languages are a plus
  • Prior experience (1-4 years) of working in logistics/supply chain/ transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes
  • Knowledge of principles for moving vehicles by road, other modes are a plus
  • IT systems experience and skills including knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and customer data systems
  • Knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including legal requirements is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills along with good utilization of MS Offices
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset
