Role Overview
You will be at the forefront of technology, changing the world of electric cars and information delivery. You will be responsible for designing innovative solutions to connect electric vehicles and mobile devices to the cloud and solve complex technical issues arising from high volumes of data streamed globally
Job Responsibilities
Work on a fast-growing team pioneering vehicle software for drivers and passengers
Build stable and elegant applications with the newest tech stacks
Own features end-to-end: from inception to design, implementation, and launch
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, DevOps, Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, and QA Engineers
Contribute code and participate in code reviews
Contribute to architectural discussions, designs, and proposals
Contribute to documentation of applications and services
Troubleshoot issues and create postmortems
Qualifications
At least 8-1 years of relevant professional experience in software development
Mastery in two of the following: Go, Python, TypeScript, Java
Understanding REST API design and security
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, databases, and caching
Strong background with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture
Expertise with distributed systems and data replication techniques
Experience in frontend development using ReactJS
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
· Expected Salary Range : $83,160-$231,660 a year.
Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
