We are currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates for the role of Simulation Integration Engineer to support EV Thermal group. This role is part of a group responsible for creating virtual environments to enable verification, and validation of system level models for electrified powertrain, Battery thermal system and Cabin climate control system.
The Simulation Integration Engineer is responsible for leading the move to virtual engineering by leading the integration of full-vehicle cross- functional co-simulation packages that are used for all aspects of vehicle development. This position involves high level of collaboration with teams throughout LMC including Vehicle Integration, Powertrain, Thermal, Battery and Embedded Controls, Calibration, Vehicle Performance, Validation, and Hardware Development. This position requires an individual with a passion for virtualization, an adept knowledge of hardware and software integrated systems, and a demonstrated capability to manage a wide variety of technical and customer needs. He or she will work as a Thermal Simulation Integration Engineer between System Engineering, Embedded controls Engineers and internal development teams, to integrate and deliver simulation environments on time and with quality. A balance of technical and project leadership skills and the ability to think outside the box to find simple yet exciting solutions is paramount.
