  • Role Overview

    The Training Facilitator, Technical Operations in Europe is responsible for creating brand advocates, including executing training of developed curriculum. The intended will demonstrate advanced adult learning theory educating principles, comfort with technology, and proven OEM subject matter expertise training Technicians and Technical Service Teams. Fisker desires a candidate with technical expertise, preferred ASE L3 certification (Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist), and solid understanding of EV vehicle repair. Fisker is seeking several facilitators with the native language: Danish, German, Norwegian, Swedish, French, and Spanish. A passion for and a deep understanding of the latest EV technologies, proven experience delivering advanced facilitation techniques in an aftersales capacity in a fast-paced environment is a must.

    Responsibilities

  • Through blended learning experiences, deliver custom learning curricula, resource materials, and job aids to drive increased competencies through technology that drive Fixed Right the First Time and customer retention.

  • Demonstrate comfort on camera with mixed multi-media learning that includes instructor-led, virtual, augmented reality and web-based deliverables that ignite lasting organizational efficiencies that support business goals.

  • Consult with instructional designers and provide competency building expertise to create engaging content, deliver creative delivery, and boost desired learning outcomes.

  • Maintain inventory, control usage of training center resources to include tools, vehicles, and equipment as well as the preparation of Fisker vehicle fleet at training centers including preparation and coordination of training.

  • Provide insight and suggestions to improve workshop content, assist in the validation of content, confirm technical accuracy, and actively participate in training course pilot and Train-the-Trainer sessions.

  • Organize and prepare training sessions, as well as confirm operation of relevant tools and equipment prior to course delivery.

  • Recommend continuous improvement to increase competency development after each training event and debrief instructional designer's strengths and weaknesses from each course.

  • Promote a safe and fun learning environment using innovative, digital forward best practices and procedures.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Automotive Technology preferred.

  • Three or more years of automotive OEM experience in technical service.

  • Working knowledge of dealership service operations with technician work experience preferred.

  • Professional Automotive Certification / Credentials required.

  • Experience delivering training curriculum, in a technical environment.

  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

  • Must have a strong working knowledge and experience with the delivery of performance-based training curriculum.

  • Fluent spoken and written English, plus other languages.

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to analyze vehicle systems, components, and diagnostic strategies with moderate levels of complexity and deliver training courses with moderate levels of supervision.

  • Ability to independently analyze highly complex vehicle systems and diagnostics and deliver complex training courses utilizing highly effective adult learning principals and performance-based training strategies that serve as a model for others to follow.

  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally, as required.

  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Exposure to service workshop environment requires lifting moderate weights, standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc.
