Role Overview

The Vehicle Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our customers, developing team members, and assisting to manage day-to-day vehicle delivery logistics operations. Our managers must deliver excellent results and achieve goals quarter after quarter, month after month, on all aspects of customers, people, operations, and financials.

The ideal candidate has the technical acumen to be able to communicate effectively with internal teams, excellent time management abilities and is passionate about leading change while inspiring teams. This role directly supports Fisker's mission by ensuring an exceptional and memorable buying experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all employees provide best in class experience in every delivery

  • Determine resources needed to ensure vehicle preparation for customer appointments are appropriately staffed

  • Proactively mediate and resolve any customer concerns regarding vehicle preparation and quality

  • Manage escalations quickly and effectively assess need for Goodwill extensions

  • Empower and guide employees through challenging concerns, to make decisions in the customers' best interest while also supporting Fisker's vision

  • Continually evaluate the performance of each employee and provide constant feedback to drive results

  • Ensure all employees adhere to Fisker policies and procedures

  • Resolve all people and safety issues in a timely and effective manner, collaborating with Human Resources and appropriate teams effectively

  • Assist delivery vehicle preparation team consisting of Vehicle Delivery Specialists and Delivery Associates

  • Help control staffing, supplies, and services for vehicle deliveries

  • Work collaboratively with other departments, particularly Vehicle Admin Department and Service Department to enhance customer experience

  • Represent Fisker in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company

  • Monitor daily deliveries, create reporting metrics, and actively review information with your Manager for continued process improvement

  • Maintain constant focus on improving the Fisker delivery experience

  • Demonstrate fluency in the local market's DMV requirements and processes

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned when business needs arise

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Educational experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 2+ years of applicable experience with proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals in a service-focused industry; automotive expertise

  • Strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities

  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business-critical deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Dedicated and ethical approach to Fisker standards

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships acting as a well-respected, trusted partner with whom others want to work

  • Ability to work evening hours, weekends and holidays in a retail environment

  • Valid driver's license in the country in which you are applying, 2-year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history

  • Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable

  • Expected Salary Range: $50,960.00 to $121,960.00 a year.

    Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
