This person is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, sorting, storing, handling, and shipping material while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ● Process, package and ship orders accurately ● Organize stocks and maintain inventory ● Inspect products for defects and damages ● Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments ● Organize and clean warehouse space ● Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately ● Check, verify and fill customer invoices ● Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations ● Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures ● Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily ● Unload/ Load trucks with incoming freight ● Clean and inspect forklifts weekly ● Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ● High school diploma or GED ● 1+ years in warehouse experience ● 1+ years of forklift driving experience ● Ability to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment ● Ability to identify the product by size, type, style, color, or product code ● Basic math skills and reasoning skills ● Ability to access data on a computer and accurately enter information ● Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes (Forklift Certification) ● A valid Oregon driver's license ● Knowledge of industry safety practices ● Ability to interact and communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and upper management
WORK ENVIRONMENT The Arcimoto Manufacturing Plant (AMP) is where production, fabrication, warehouse, and machining activities are present. The noise level in the AMP can be moderate to loud some of the time. The Arcimoto East building is where research and development, materials, and servicing activities are present. The noise level in the Arcimoto East building is moderate to loud some of the time. The Arcimoto West building is where Tilting Motor Works activities are present. The noise level in the Arcimoto West building is moderate to loud some of the time. Arcimoto has various other buildings where administration, accounting, marketing, sales and engineering activities are present.
