Fisker Group Inc. is looking for an experienced automotive Warranty Claim Specialist who will be responsible for timely administration of warranty claims, support inquiries, and general warranty support for internal/external stakeholders and Fisker Service Centers within accordance to established policy guidelines. In addition, this role will support the development and training of warranty associates, service providers, evaluate claim processing strategies, and identify improvements as needed. The right candidate will ensure compliance as outlined in the Warranty Policies and Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and efficient processing of claims submitted by Fisker Service Centers.

  • Provide constructive feedback and solutions to Service Centers when submitted claims are adjusted or rejected to improve the processing of future claims.

  • Collaborate with other business areas to investigate field issues affecting warranty, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Be the warranty subject matter expert to support warranty related activities, analysis, resolution, and training.

  • Effectively communicate key issues or trends quickly and escalate need for resolution in an urgent but professional manner.

  • Support warranty related efforts such as audits, implementation of process improvements, publication of information, etc.

  • Ensure timely and professional support for warranty inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology or Business Management - OEM and EV Technology experience is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in Warranty Claims, Warranty Management, or Auditing.

  • Preferred: Bachelor's D egree in related area, with five or more years of EV or premium automotive service experience.

  • Knowledges, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.

  • Knowledge of OEM warranty system, SAP experience is a plus.

  • knowledge of Automotive Warranty Practices and Principles.

  • Familiarity and/or experience with automotive diagnosis and repair principles.

  • Demonstrated strong data analytics, process development, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience or familiarity with SAP based warranty claim processing.

  • Experience or familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce)

  • Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.

  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external partners at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to take ownership of jobs and work independently beyond assigned position to successfully complete them.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with German additional European language skills as a plus.

  • Must have ability to handle confidential matters and information, strong business acumen.

  • Willingness to work as part of a team to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness.

  • Working Condition (if any):

  • Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required.

  • Overnight travel as needed.

  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed to meet deadlines and goals.

  • Exposed to service workshop environment that may require standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc.

  • Expected Salary Range : $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
