What to Expect
The Workplace Specialist provides workplace services and administrative
support to increase individual well-being, personal productivity, and
organizational effectiveness. With a primary role in facilitation, this role
is at the forefront of delivering a positive office experience via culinary,
janitorial, and space planning programs. As part of a “front-of-house” team,
the Workplace Specialist is responsible for creating a supportive and
comfortable atmosphere for employees, colleagues, clients, interviewees, and
visitors.
What You'll Do
The Workplace Specialist is responsible for drafting, planning, tracking,
and executing complete event logistics varying in scope and size.
Develop and launch employee engagement surveys that ensure operational
success of our Fremont programs.
Drive organization effectiveness through priority alignment, operational
metrics, and financial management
Inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best day in and day
out. Champion an industry leading culture
Responsible for reporting and tracking all event activities to management
to ensure overall success.
What You'll Bring
Experience leading and organizing volunteers
Operational event management experience
Experience in culinary, janitorial, space planning or facilities
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and maintaining a flexible
schedule
Work other times during the day, as needed on an on-call basis
Strong public relations and overall communication skills
Ability to make fast, sound decisions
Track record of being a strong team player
Good problem-solving skills
Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to work simultaneously on a wide range of projects
with the ability to prioritize tasks
