18 April 2023, 10:00 (CEST)EVBox joins leading Dutch companies in committing to net-zero emissions by 2050EVBox, together with other leading Dutch companies, committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 with the support of The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The companies will set emission reduction targets for the short- and long-term to achieve net-zero emissions of greenhouse gasses throughout their value chain, reducing emissions by half by 2030. AMSTERDAM, 18 April 2023 – Today, CEOs of 10 leading Dutch companies committed to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 with the support of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). EVBox commits to setting near-term Science Based Targets in order to align with SBTi's Corporate Net Zero Standard. The SBTiindependently assesses and validates companies' CO2 emissions targets inaccordance with the most up-to-date climate science and based onscientific criteria.
